Family Directory
NOT just
another 'address book,' Family Directory can print a
booklet Directory directly from FileMaker Pro. It stores
names, addresses, and more. It is specifically designed
to print up to 200 addresses (with all info) or up to 400
addresses (with less info) - in landscape mode. It prints on both
sides of 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheets of paper that, when
folded and center stapled, will form a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch
Directory booklet that lists addresses alphabetically by
name. Some page layouts will print more information per
address with a lower maximum number of addresses. It
might be used for other types of group Directories, but
it is particularly oriented towards groups of relatives
or family members.

(1.1 was Mac only and feature deficient; it has been
discontinued in the meantime).

This Database Solution will
store 1 Address per record with:
- Up to 7 names and birth
dates
- Up to 5 telephone/fax
numbers or short e-mail addresses
- 1 or 2 address lines per
address
- City, State,
Zip
- 1 Country name per
address
- Up to 10 Category
designations plus 1 keyword per address
- Address type description
(e.g. Secondary residence, Temporary address,
etc.)
- 1 Printed Miscellaneous
field (<100 chars.) per address
- 1 Password protected Misc.
field per address
- 1 Maiden name for an adult
female per address
This Database Solution will
print:
- Address Labels (Avery®
5160)
- Single Envelopes (if your
printer handles them)
- Booklet style Directory
based on a Found Set or category including:
- A Cover Page
- Up to 100 to 400
addresses (2,4, 5, 6 or 8 per booklet page)
with
- most stored
information from Found Set (does not print
password
- protected Misc.
field, keyword or category names)
- An Optional Maiden Name
Cross-Reference (Family Directory only)
- Other optional
non-FileMaker Pro pages can also be
included
- Manual Entry Forms (to fill
in with pen/pencil)
- Form Letters for:
- Soliciting latest
addresses and information
- Corrections to previous
Directory, etc.
This Database Solution
requires:
- FileMaker Pro 4.0 v3 or
Runtime (included with long downloads)
- 5 MB or more hard disk
space
- A medium resolution printer
- minimum 300 dpi.
- For all printers, try
the TRIAL
version first to

properly on your computer.
